Garbage Procedures

Below are the steps for additional trash containers as well as clarity on the adhesive sticker(s).

Additional Container(s)

  • Please contact the Secretary (primary) or Treasurer (secondary) at 574-772-7761, #3.  They can also be reached directly at their contact information in the front of the directory.
  • You are not able to request carts or stickers directly through Apex.  Once BLPOA receives payment, additional cart(s) will be requested as well as new sticker(s).  Carts are usually delivered weekly on Friday.
  • If you need a new container due to damage, please call Apex directly at 574-896-2739.  Since property owners are responsible for their assigned carts, a replacement fee may be required.

Adhesive Stickers

Each year a new sticker will be assigned with your membership. The color changes every year.  Reminder: the BLPOA garbage year is July 1 through June 30.

The cart opening should face the road and the sticker should be placed on the side as the truck approaches.  It should be applied directly to the cart in the upper left corner (not taped on).
